For the Italian Renaissance lover, this painting is my reinterpretation of Sandro Botticelii’s "Mars and Venus".

Created in 2008 as part of my illustration training with Professor Phyllis Purves Smith; this narrative spoke to me for it’s uniqueness and focus on the Divine Feminine Principal. This painting was created in the monochromatic “grisaille” technique, and is approximately 2’ ft x 6’ ft long in dimension.
