F/ Product for October: "Venus & Mars" oil painting -
For the Italian Renaissance lover, this painting is my reinterpretation of Sandro Botticelii’s "Mars and Venus".
Created in 2008 as part of my illustration training with Professor Phyllis Purves Smith; this narrative spoke to me for it’s uniqueness and focus on the Divine Feminine Principal. This painting was created in the monochromatic “grisaille” technique, and is approximately 2’ ft x 6’ ft long in dimension.
Oil, on Hand-stretched canvas (2.2' ft x 5.675' ft long), 2008.
Drawing of “The Jaguar”, 2021.
