The Goddess “Durga”, is known as the fierce and protective mother of the universe. She represents divine female energy (Shakti), and the triumph of good over evil. - Her name means a fort or a place hard to reach.

This piece shifted from a stud of the Goddess Pele, to an incarnation of “Durga”. - It was started in New Jersey, and also painted during my trip to Hawaii, on the island of Hilo.
